~Not so boring info~

Okay, for those of you sitting there wondering why the heck someone would dedicate a club to two weapons: WHAT DO YOU THINK WIKIPEDIA IS FOR?!?!?
Anyways, basically their (official) story is that Meta Knight rescued them from a big, pink poodle and now they've followed him around ever since. Uh-huh. But...

~Them Knights~
Here's my version, in short (cuz it's really a pretty long story)

_{In the beginning, Nightmare was sending out monsters and his warriors to wreak havoc like, EVERYWHERE. Sword and Blade had been living in seperate home towns when the Nightmare Warriors came along. Blade (age 5) was kidnapped and Sword (age 6) had to run away. Later, they met up and little Sword promised little Blade to get him back to his family. Shortly after they met, they were attcked by a young dragon called Draco Scythe. After that, they were safe for a few years (as in, they're teenagers now) in a Star Warrior base, until the Nightmare Warriors came and ran them out of there too. Then, they had to hide away in an old, abandoned house in a destroyed, abandoned town. There Draco Scythe (much bigger now) came and attacked them again. They killed the dragon (OR DID THEY?...) and hid in a DIFFERENT house. The Nightmare Warriors came back and set the house on fire, hoping to kill our brave knights. Blade's leg got broken from a thingy that fell on him, but Sword still had a promise to keep, so he stayed. Luckily, Meta Knight came along and rescued them (fire is scarier than poodles...), then took them to Cappy Town, expecting to leave them there. But Sword and Blade convinced the Star Warrior to let them stay with him, and they've been with him ever since.}

There you go. That's my version of it. It's more exciting than that, but I don't want to take up too much of your time.
